Sounds Around Town Festival
The Sons Pela Cidade Festival is celebrating its 11th edition, offering a series of eight concerts in different parishes of Lisbon, performed by the soloists of the Orquestra Metropolitana.
The program is designed for all lovers of classical music, but also for those who want to get started in the world of composers such asMendelssohn, Taffanel, Fauré, Chausson, Beethoven, Shostakovich, Vivaldi, Piazzolla, Ravel, Kodaly and many others.
The repertoire covers a wide range of styles, from the classical tradition to pop and world music, including jazz standards, both old and contemporary, with brief forays into R&B, soul and even Brazilian choro.
A highlight is the concert on December 14, in which the spirit of Christmas is celebrated with a reawakening of memories and affections with traditional melodies of the season.
The concerts take place in various churches, a market, an auditorium and other venues belonging to the parishes taking part in Sons Pela Cidade.

All shows are accessible to people with reduced mobility
