More than 30,000 ran in Lisbon this weekend

Ethiopian Dinkalem Ayele, with 1:00.36 hours, and Kenyan Brigid Kosgei, with 1:05.51 hours, won the 33rd Lisbon Half Marathon. Rui Pinto and Susana Godinho were the fastest Portuguese runners to reach the finish line in Belém.


In the various races - EDP Half Marathon, Vodafone 10 K, Hyundai 7 K, Mimosa Passeio da Família, and EDP New Generation - more than 30,000 athletes took part, including 10,000 foreigners.

Supported by the Lisbon City Council, the race is considered one of the fastest in the world and is part of the new international Super Halfs circuit, which brings together six of the best half marathons in the world: Berlin, Cardiff, Copenhagen, Lisbon, Prague and Valencia
