Mobility

Abusive Parking and Pedestrian Mobility

Get involved and help improve pedestrian mobility in Lisbon.

Abusive parking - on sidewalks, ramps, crosswalks or priority access zones - compromises safety and circulation for everyone. More than an infraction, it constitutes a real barrier to mobility, affecting pedestrians' autonomy on a daily basis.

The consequences are especially serious for people with limited mobility, such as blind citizens, wheelchair users or people with motor or sensory disabilities, for whom an obstacle in the public space can make it impossible to circulate with dignity and safety.

The Municipality of Lisbon is promoting this survey to understand the public's perception of abusive parking and its impact on the borough's parishes. The contributions gathered will help identify problems and support the definition of measures for a more accessible, safe and inclusive city.

This survey is anonymous and guarantees the confidentiality of responses.
