Alvalade Christmas Market

This year, 67 traders will be taking part in the market, offering a wide variety of products, from traditional Portuguese handicrafts to Christmas decorations, fashion and accessories, as well as typical gastronomy, including sweets, snacks and hot and cold drinks.

The emblematic wooden houses will create a welcoming and festive atmosphere along Avenida da Igreja.

The program includes music, theater and dance shows, as well as activities dedicated to children, such as traditional Portuguese handicraft workshops.

Santa Claus will be there to welcome families and take photos on days:

• 4, 5 and 12, from 17:00 to 20:00;
• 9, 10, 11, 15, 16 and 17, from 17:00 to 19:30;
• on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, from 11:00 to 13:00 and from 15:00 to 19:30.

Highlights of this year's program:

• Inauguration: December 4, at 18:00, next to Santa's House;
• Christmas Bike Tour: a bike ride designed to bring the community closer to the Christmas spirit, on December 12
• Teatro das Emoções (Theater of Emotions): a show aimed at children, on December 13, opening at 5:45 p.m. and starting at 6:00 p.m., inspired by the emotions and magic of Christmas;
• Mimosas and itinerant animations: moments of entertainment throughout the event.
