Oficina do Cego, in partnership with Lisbon City Council, is promoting a series of workshops dedicated to manual printing techniques.
The program includes training sessions in screen printing and letterpress printing, combining a theoretical and practical approach, and using traditional graphic arts equipment and processes.
The activities are aimed at citizens and employees of the Municipality of Lisbon, as part of the promotion of technical and creative skills.

Beginners' Workshop in Movable Character Typography
This workshop by Oficina do Cego introduces participants to the basics of manual letterpress printing, including preparation and fine-tuning processes during printing.
The session includes a theoretical and practical approach, using equipment such as a proofing press and a Minerva machine, provided by Oficina do Cego.

Screen Printing Workshop
This workshop offers an introduction to the basics of screen printing, going through the process of manual one-color printing.
The session combines theory and practice, with materials provided by Oficina do Cego.
The program will be mainly theoretical and the materials will be provided by Oficina do Cego.
