Between Largo Corpo Santo and Rua dos Arameiros, the public promenade is for people.

The main aims of this initiative, which allows people to enjoy the waterfront, are to:
- enjoy this emblematic part of the city;
- reduce pollution and road traffic on this artery of the city;
- to walk and cycle along the river safely and without cars.
