Lisbon Climate Contract - Lisbon is one of 100 cities willing to embrace the challenge of achieving climate neutrality by 2030. Together with Porto and Guimarães, Lisbon is part of the list of 100 cities that have been selected by the European Commission to be part of the "100 Climate Neutral and Smart Cities by 2030". The Cities Mission aims to make 100 European cities smart and climate neutral by 2030. The chosen cities will have access to different opportunities, such as personalized assistance and advice, access to funding opportunities, exchange of experiences between cities and support for citizen involvement.
LIFE LUNGS Project - Contributing to the implementation of the Municipal Climate Change Adaptation Strategy (EMAAC, 2017), particularly by promoting the city's resilience to rising temperatures and water scarcity.
Modernization of the public lighting system - Replacement of 22% of the luminaires in the city's public lighting network, which account for 29% of consumption, with LED technology, with an intelligent point-to-point management system. This project also includes the implementation of a communication network and a command and control center.
