Children's marches receive municipal support of 16 thousand euros

This year's edition of the Lisbon School Children's Marches involved around 1,300 children from 32 groups of partner organizations, who are now supported by Lisbon City Council.


The Children's Marches of the Lisbon Schools paraded on June 15 in Belém, under the theme "Lisbon City of Traditions - Tagus", and were part of the Popular Marches parade on Avenida da Liberdade, on the night of St. Anthony.

As in previous years, explains the proposal approved unanimously at the executive meeting on September 11, each marching group to be presented will receive support of 500 euros:

Dinis; Juntas de Freguesia de: Alcântara | Alvalade | Avenidas Novas | Beato | Belém | Benfica | Campo de Ourique | Campolide | Carnide | Lumiar | Marvila | Misericórdia | Olivais | Parque das Nações | Penha de França | Santa Clara | Santa Maria Maior | Santo António | São Domingos de Benfica | São Vicente.
