City bids farewell to the Festivities

The Festas de Lisboa 2024 have come to an end. Throughout June, the city was filled with color, movement and lots of fun. Tony Carreira and Richie Campbell closed the longest month of the year with two concerts in Terreiro do Paço, on June 29 and 30


Tony Carreira performed some of his greatest hits, accompanied by a 16-string orchestra and some guest artists. During the show, the singer was honored by the Mayor of Lisbon, Carlos Moedas, with the Municipal Medal of Cultural Merit.

On Sunday, June 30, it was Richie Campbell's turn to take to the stage. The Portuguesereggae singer heated up the night with his contagious energy.

The closing night of the Lisbon Festivities ended with a fireworks display.

June was also the month of popular festivals, the Book Fair, the parade of marches on Avenida da Liberdade, the Santo António Weddings, the Santo António race, various musical shows such as Rock in Rio and Lisb-On, intercultural festivals and exhibitions.
