Eight municipal projects receive Municipal Excellence awards

At the end of the panel dedicated to Tourism and Culture, the municipality of Lisbon was distinguished for the "positive impact" of the following projects on the community:

• Archaeology in the Neighborhood;
• DESCOLA - Creative activities for students and teachers;
• General Essay;
• Urban Art Gallery;
• Roman Lisbon - Felicitas Iulia Olisipo;
• Memories - Community Memory Workshops;
• The days of Marvila;
• A Theater in Every Neighborhood.

The"Social City" award aims to publicly recognize the good practices implemented by Portuguese municipalities, through relevant projects in the areas of Culture, Education, Tourism, Youth, Social Action and Sport.
