Lisbon hosts 14th Global Governance and Compliance Forum

At the opening of the 14th "Global Governance & Compliance Forum", Cecília Moreira highlighted the municipality's strategic commitment and investment in transparency and the prevention of corruption.


Representing Lisbon City Council, the director of the Transparency and Corruption Prevention Department (DTPC), shared her experience as head of the DTPC, created on February 1, 2023, "to supervise municipal activity and guarantee the separation between the functions of executive administration and supervision", within the scope of the Municipal Transparency and Corruption Prevention Strategy.

The meeting - organized on September 9 by the Autonomous University, Viadrina Compliance Center and European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) - brought together 25 international experts, representing academia, industry and the authorities, to discuss trends and the future of operational concepts of transparency, compliance and whistleblowing.
