Lisbon libraries with extended opening hours

From September 15, the Alcântara, Marvila and Palácio Galveias libraries will be open from Monday to Saturday, from 10h00 to 20h00.

The Saramago Room at the Palácio Galveias Library will also be open from 8pm to midnight (Monday to Saturday).

The neighborhood libraries: Belém, Camões, Coruchéus, Orlando Ribeiro, Penha de França and the Hemeroteca Municipal will be open from Monday to Friday. On the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month, from 10h00 to 18h00.

This standardization in the operation of the municipal libraries, "the first in almost 20 years, represents an increase of around 40 opening days and 1,000 more hours of public service throughout the year".
