Lisbon welcomes Master's students

The integration activity took place through the streets of Lisbon, culminating in Praça do Município. The students were greeted by the Mayor of Lisbon, Carlos Moedas, who welcomed them all.

This reception takes place in a context in which Lisbon is asserting itself as an academic hub of international relevance. According to data from the National Statistics Institute (INE), in the 2020/2021 academic year, around 13,000 international students were enrolled in higher education in the city, reflecting the growing demand for the city of Lisbon by students from all over the world.

In Lisbon there is the"Study in Lisbon" project, which aims to bring together various municipal entities to promote the city's scientific and academic potential internationally. Through joint actions, it seeks to attract talent, students and researchers, both national and foreign, thus strengthening the intellectual and scientific reputation of the capital.
