Lisbon's investment potential presented at MIPIM
Beato Innovation District, Lisbon's General Drainage Plan, Hospital de Todos os Santos, and major urban operations such as Matinha, Marvila-Beato, Vale de Chelas and Vale de Sto. António, were some of the city's most emblematic projects presented at the 2026 edition of MIPIM.
Lisbon's presence, says Carlos Moedas, allowed investors and partners to see the major projects that will shape the city's future: "More affordable housing, more green spaces and a historic commitment to areas that were forgotten in the eastern part of the city".
The mayor of Lisbon and the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, who spoke on the panel "Lisbon - Capital of Innovation", was part of the national delegation - with the largest turnout ever - at an edition dedicated to housing and data centers, "two segments that reflect structural challenges and profound transformations in the global real estate sector".
In the MIPIM 2025 edition, the Entrecampos Integrated Operation project stood out among more than 200 candidates from all over the world, winning the Best New Mega Development category.
