The Lisboa Beach Volleyball Legends brought to the capital 10 legendary pairs of Olympic athletes from Portugal, Brazil, Angola, Cuba, Norway, Argentina, Germany, Austria and Italy, which took third place on the podium with the pair of Nicola Grigolo and Paolo de Angeli.
The beach volleyball tournament, organized by the Maia Brenha Academy with the support of Lisbon City Council, also marked the end of this year's Lisboa Beach Games. The event was designed to promote the practice of beach volleyball, and hosted the 4th stage of this national circuit, and the 2nd stage of the national Beach Teqball circuit.
