Real-time information at Carris stops

The first information panel in a Carris bus stop shelter is already in operation in Entrecampos, allowing passengers to check the estimated time of arrival of routes, according to continuously updated data.

The information is provided by Carris and is the result of continuous monitoring of the operation, making the estimation of journey times more accurate and reducing the uncertainty of waiting.

For users, says the municipal company, the main advantage is the possibility of adjusting journeys based on data updated in real time.

The new panels are being installed in phases. According to Carris, 60 devices are planned, of which 39 have already been installed.

These systems are designed to simplify the reading of waiting times, with clear and accessible information in the shelters themselves. The evolution compared to previous solutions involves the continuous updating of data and greater reliability in predicting arrivals, accompanying the movement of buses in real time.
