Grandma's is where I call home.
There I nourish myself, there I fill myself with love and wisdom. A treasure chest of the women we are, even in a man's body.
There, at the grandmother's where I call home, ancestry is not a dirty word or a banal word, it has the weight of a very present past with an eye to the future.

The Island of Great Solitude
This show is part of the 1st edition of FM - Festival de Monólogos da Boutique da Cultura.
In a world where we connect and disconnect, how big is the void around us?
Based on Fernanda de Castro's The Island of Great Solitude and original texts, Rita Dias and Carla Gil create an island where all generations fit. From birth to death, loneliness doesn't tell you when it's coming. It just happens.
