Commentary tours
The aim of these visits is to showcase the city and its architectural, historical and cultural heritage. They are the result of partnerships with various public and private entities - such as palaces, foundations, churches and galleries - and take place every month in places as diverse as the Champalimaud Foundation, the Portuguese Masonic Museum or the Marionette Museum.
Launched in 2006, the project allows access to the interior of spaces usually restricted to the public, revealing behind-the-scenes stories through the voices of those who work in them. Through this direct contact, participants are invited to discover Lisbon's identity and cultural pulse.
Participation:
- Free, upon prior registration to visitas.comentadas@cm-lisboa.pt (reservations processed on a first-come, first-served basis)
- Required information: Full name and telephone number of both participants.
- Maximum of 3 visits per month (each registration includes the holder and 1 companion).
Note: Cancellations must be notified 24 hours in advance. Failure to give prior notice will prevent registration for the following month.
