EuroPride fills Lisbon's streets with color, pride and inclusion

Lisbon hosted the EuroPride 2025 parade today, mobilizing thousands of people in a celebration of diversity and an affirmation of commitment to equality and human rights. From Avenida da Liberdade to Terreiro do Paço, the city came together in the name of solidarity and inclusion.

The parade was a moment of celebration, visibility and defense of the rights of LGBTI+ people. Tiago Henriques, one of the participants in the march, stressed that this event "is very important for drawing attention to LGBT issues at European level. It's increasingly important to fight for our rights and show that, whether in Portugal or in Europe, everyone should be happy and have equal rights."

Held in Portugal for the first time, EuroPride aims to raise awareness of equality issues regarding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression and reinforces the importance of visibility and inclusion of LGBTI+ people in society.

Between June 14 and 22, EuroPride 2025 brings a plural program to the city, with free events: concerts, exhibitions, conferences and meetings.
