Housing in Lisbon will receive more support from the Recovery and Resilience Program
"The faster the reimbursement, the more capacity we have to do more," said the mayor of Lisbon. For Carlos Moedas, the money received by Lisbon - around 100 million euros - is important, and he left a request to the Institute for Housing and Urban Rehabilitation "so that this money can reach the City Council quickly".
Lisbon was one of the municipalities in Lisbon and the Tagus Valley that signed protocols with the government today, as part of the Support Program for Access to Housing, financed by the PRR.
In addition to the construction of new homes, the rehabilitation of existing buildings is contemplated, in order to revitalize urban areas and improve the quality of life of their inhabitants.
