Exposições
Curated by Maria Lusitano

The exhibition stems from a proposal by Maria Lusitano to eight artists, who have been meeting in dialogues between virtual "human gardens". From these conversations came the realization that the project builds itself, like a living organism that follows two movements of the garden: interiority and revelation.

This dialog between the intimate and the common echoes pedagogies such as Fröbel's, linked to the Casa do Jardim da Estrela.

Following this spirit, the artists are looking for a renewed pedagogy, based on deep listening and co-creation, where the work emerges as a living sculpture shaped by relationships. In a joint residency, they work in constant dialog with each other and with the garden, in a continuous process of experimentation. The result is always a process: matter under construction, an open conversation.

The final exhibition aims to create a space where the inner gardens of each artist meet and intertwine, giving rise to a single living garden, in continuous transformation, which is built through communion between them and is open to the public, inviting them to participate and reinvent themselves.
