The Avenida João XXI Tunnel connects Campo Pequeno to Avenida Afonso Costa, in Areeiro, with access to Avenida Almirante Reis and Rua Alves Torgo.

The ongoing intervention aims to reinforce user safety, guarantee the reliability of the infrastructure and modernize the systems that support its operation, in accordance with current standards.
