New Unicorn in Lisbon to recruit around 100 engineers
The San Francisco-based company, with more than 1,200 clients in 50 countries, has chosen the Portuguese capital to develop new products and services, taking advantage of the city's innovative and ambitious spirit. Iterable is a platform that uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to optimize customer communication and data processing.
The expansion of the technology sector in Lisbon has transformed the city into an innovation hub, attracting more and more internationally renowned companies. During the event, organized by Unicorn Factory, Carlos Moedas, the mayor of Lisbon, highlighted the value of this transformation: "Every tech company that sets up in Lisbon means more jobs, better salaries and better opportunities for Lisboners, especially the younger ones."
Andrew Boni, from Iterable, stressed the importance of the city in the company's growth: "In Lisbon we have discovered a city that perfectly encapsulates our energy, ambition and mentality. We are here to contribute to this community's vibrant history of innovation," he said.
Lisbon is currently positioning itself as an important global innovation hub , with 67 tech companies having set up in the city since the Unicorn Factory was launched in 2022. The companies "are recruiting 15,000 more people in the city", and participate in acceleration programs to "support small entrepreneurs to grow and internationalize their businesses".
