The seventh edition of ARCO Lisboa opens

"Art is a point of confluence of union and in a world of friction that we live in, art is our union," said Carlos Moedas at the inauguration of the event that transforms Lisbon "into a meeting point for collectors, gallerists, artists and professionals from all over the world."

The Fair is organized around "three areas: the General Programme, made up of 59 galleries, and the curated sections, OPENING Lisboa, with a section of 17 galleries, and The Shapes of the Ocean, made up of 8 galleries."

The Torreão Nascente is home to an exhibition of contemporary art acquired by the Lisbon City Council for its collection in 2023.

It should be noted that ARCO Lisboa is presenting, for the fifth time, the OPENING Lisboa Award , whose jury, made up of professionals from the sector, will recognize the best stand in the section for the design of its exhibition space.

The general public can visit the fair from Friday to Sunday. On Saturday 25th, from 3pm, admission is free for young people up to the age of 25.
