Where to do it
Screening for HIV infection is done through a blood test.
You can take a quick test (with a drop of blood obtained through a painless prick on the tip of the finger) at one of the many screening centers throughout Lisbon.
The test is anonymous, confidential and free of charge.
The test can be prescribed by your GP or any other doctor and carried out in a laboratory with a blood test, or it can be purchased from a pharmacy and carried out at home using a self-test.
