Safeguarding and Management Plan approved
The Plan for the Safeguarding and Management of the Royal Quinta das Necessidades (PSGRQN) was approved at the Town Hall Meeting held on April 17, 2024, under the terms of proposal no. 205/2024.

Pre-plan phase
Preliminary plan for the Tapada das Necessidades Safeguarding Plan (PSTN)
Prepared by an external multidisciplinary team led by landscape architects Filipa Cardoso Menezes and Catarina Assis Pacheco, and coordinated by the Lisbon City Council (Green Structure Project Office / DMAEVCE), it was completed in May 2021 and was up for public consultation in June and July 2021.
